Products, Services, and Other Websites You and Your Pet Might Appreciate
First, just so you know.
- I generated this list to share information about pet-related products and services that I happen to be aware of.
- I get no kickback for any of these listings. Most of them don't even know they are on my list.
- Being on this list is not necessarily an endorsement. If I have something really good or really bad to say about a company, I say it. Otherwise, it's just a list of products and services I happen to be aware of.
- This list can easily be modified and updated. Input can be emailed to me at: sfnakaya@kindredspiritkindredcare.com

Products for Geriatric and/or Handicapped Pets
Kidney Care
Note: These are some new and exciting supplements for supporting patients diagnosed with renal insufficiency. Check with your veterinarian before administering any new treatments to make sure that it is appropriate for your pet.
- Azodyl. Probiotic that performs "enteric dialysis" thereby helping to decrease the toxins ordinarily removed by the kidneys.
- Epakitin. A generally well-tolerated phosphate-binder for patients diagnosed with kidney disease AND hyperphosphatemia.
- FYI: There are also chinese herbal formulas that can be very effective in supporting patients with compromised kidneys. These formulas are individually selected according to diagnosis AND patient constitution. Therefore, you should consult with a veterinarian familiar with traditional Chinese veterinary medicine or TCVM to determine the appropriate formula for your pet. You may search for a TCVM veterinarian here.
